My friend just IM'd me: "did you see google today?" I thought it was odd, what did she mean? so I went to Google's homepage, and then I understood. Today is Jules Verne's birthday, and they have honored the occasion by incorporating nautical imagery into their logo, and the Jules Verne Wikipedia listing popped right out at me.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Verne!
